This is truly what art is for.... I often feel like this. And This piece has helped me relieve some of this feeling. I think now it's mainly my dad's fault I often feel inadequate...
lol But she is very beautiful. :3 I used a reference from Sailor Moon for this one. I used the part from Sailor Moon R, where Chibi-Usa(Rini for you English n00bs) was turned into Black Lady. =3 I find all of the words in the background very hurtful... anyone says them to me, I'm likely to break down crying. So that's why I put them there. lol Comments
Noes!!!!1 You are doing your job perfectly!!! I pretty much only feel this way when my dad pulls his crap. And then I talk to you, I feel all better!!!!

The words surrounding her are all incredibly powerful, negative, hurtful words. The words have meanings and the meanings are getting to her. Not just cutting her down and making her sad, but digging deep down into her conscious mind. She wants it all to stop but she feels like there's no hope sometimes. She's screaming to make it all go away forever and she's naked because she's susceptible to the abuse at hand.
The style is inexplicably appealing to the eyes. Her skin is pale and frail but abnormally pretty. The lighting and shadowing give the piece a very realistic, three-dimensional feel that makes me smile. I love the color and texture of her hair and fingernails. It is plain to see that a lot of thought and dedication was put into this.
Overall, I'm put at a loss for words at the sadness depicted. Even if it is my dying deed, I will see to it that happiness and love outweigh the bad. This is definitely one of my favorite deviations! Excellent job constructing and portraying such a memorable work of art.
